Coach Lizzie currently serves as the Age Group 3 Coach at Tennessee Aquatics, as well as their business manager. Age Group 3 is the entry-level competitive group, with a strong focus on stroke instruction, skill development, achieving personal best times, and—most importantly—having fun.
Coach Lizzie joins the Glider family along with her husband, Danny, and their sons, Danny Jr. (12) and Graf (10). We are excited to welcome them all and look forward to a great season ahead under her leadership.

Coach Whitney is excited to join the GCC swim team. Summer swim has always been her favorite! She was a lifelong summer swimmer and swam for a D3 college. She coached with Coach Lizzie many years ago, and is thrilled to be back with her! Whitney and her husband have two sons, ages 14 and 11. Whitney teaches 3 year olds at West Hills Baptist Preschool & Kindergarten.

I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee, graduating in May 2026. Swimming has always been a part of my life. I first started swimming for my summer league team back in Buffalo, NY, wearing my bright pink floaties! From there I joined my club team and then swam for my high school team where I was Senior Captain. Once I got to college, I joined the club team at UT and served as Vice President for a year. Throughout my years of swimming, I have grown to love it!

I have a lot of experience coaching swimming, as well. I coached for my club team back in NY as well as many summer league teams in NY and TN. For the past 2 years, I have been the head coach for the West Valley Middle School Swim & Dive team. Although my competitive days are behind me, I look forward to continuing my involvement with the sport by helping swimmers grow in their confidence and skills in the water. I am looking forward to joining the team!

I am Aidan Cahill, a 2025 graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School and am currently attending the University of Tennessee, where I am a part of the ROTC program while pursuing a degree in Food and Agricultural Business. A lifelong athlete, I developed discipline, teamwork, and perseverance through years of competition. Over the past three summers, I have also worked as a lifeguard, demonstrating responsibility, leadership, and a strong commitment to serving and protecting others.

I’m excited to be returning for my second year as a coach this summer! Swimming has always been a huge part of my life, and Gettysvue Country Club holds a very special place in my heart. I spent 13 summers swimming for the Gliders and have over 10 years of USA Swimming experience.

I’m currently a rising junior at the University of Tennessee pursuing a degree in Public Affairs and Economics.
I’m so excited to be back with this amazing team and can’t wait to see what this season has in store!

I started swimming with the Gliders at age five and am excited to return as a coach. Some of my favorite memories come from summers with the team. I spent seven years as a USA swimmer specializing in IM and Breaststroke. I’m currently double majoring in Finance and Accounting at the University of Tennessee and also work in the pro shop at Gettysvue.
