Good afternoon Glider parents!! Summer is quickly approaching, and we are SO excited! We have a great summer planned, and I will begin sending out weekly updates so you are aware of all swim team news. Please mark your calendars for these dates:

1. 4/4/2019: Glider Night at Moe's Northshore!

Please come to Moe's Northshore tomorrow evening from 4-9pm for dinner. They have graciously committed to donating 20% of the night's sales to the Gliders! Please come out to support the team and Moe's Northshore!

2. 4/18/2019 and 4/24/2019: 2019 Team Registration and Ice Cream Social

Team registration will be 4/18/2019 (Thursday) and 4/24/2019 (Wednesday) from 5-7pm at the GCC Clubhouse. Swim and Tri will be there for new swimsuit fittings on 4/18 only.

3. 5/8/2019: GCC Officials Certification Clinic

Tom Schumann (GKAISA) will be at GCC on 5/8/2019 to lead an Officials Certification Clinic beginning at 6:30pm. If you have ever wanted to learn more about the technical components of swimming, need to update your expired certification or would like to become a certified official for the first time, please join us that evening. We NEED more Stroke and Turn Judges as well as Starters and Meet Referees this summer so please consider attending the clinic. We can not participate in meets without them!

4. Swim Meet Schedule:

I will be attending the League 2 Meet Scheduling Meeting next Tuesday. I know everyone is anxious to have our schedule, so I will send is out as soon as possible following the meeting.

5. 6/5/2019 - 2019 Black and Gold Scrimmage Meet
