Hello Glider families! The beginning of our summer season is approaching quickly! Here are some updates and reminders for this week!

1. It isn't too late to register!

Simply login to your team account on the Gliders website: https://gettysvuegliders.swimtopia.com, click "Registration" and it will walk you through the process.

2. 5/8/2019: GCC Officials Certification Clinic

Tom Schumann (from GKAISA) will be at GCC on 5/8/2019 to lead an Officials Certification Clinic beginning at 6:30pm. If you have ever wanted to learn more about the technical components of swimming, need to update your expired certification or would like to become a certified official for the first time, please join us that evening. We NEED more Stroke and Turn Judges as well as Starters and Meet Referees this summer so please consider attending the clinic. We cannot participate in meets without them!

3. Afternoon Practice - 5/20/19 - 5/23/19

Ages 8 & under: 4:00 - 5:00pm

Ages 9-10 & 11-12: 5:00 - 6:00pm

Ages 13 & up: 6:00 - 7:00pm

4. 5/28/19: Regular Practice schedule begins

Ages 9-10 & 11-12: 8:30 - 9:45am

Ages 8 & under: 9:30 - 10:15am

Ages 13 & up: 10:00-11:30am

Regular Evening Practices - Mondays & Wednesdays only starting 5/29/19

Ages 6-10: 6:00 - 7:00pm

Ages 11 & up: 7:00 - 8:00pm

*due to limited lane space, no feeders at evening practices, please.

5. 5/29/19: 7:00 - 9:00pm - Kick-Off Party

We will be having a dessert/ice cream kick-off party at the small pool across the street from the main entrance the evening of 5/29/19. Be on the lookout for more details.

7/13-14/19 Smoky Mtn. Invitational

7/16/19 @ 6pm - GCC vs. Gulf Park (A)

7/25-27/19 GKAISA City Meet
