Happy Memorial Day Glider Families!

Our season officially begins tomorrow with the kick off of our regular summer practice schedule! Here are important reminders for this week.

1. Regular Summer Practice Schedule begins tomorrow, Tuesday, May 28th!

Ages 9-10 & 11-12: 8:30 - 9:45am
Ages 8 & under: 9:30 - 10:15am
Ages 13 & up: 10:00-11:30am

**We will not have Monday/Wednesday evening practice this week.

2. Season Kick-off Ice Cream Party - Wednesday, May 29th @ the small pool across from the main GCC entrance on Westland Drive - 7:00-9:00pm

Please join us for ice cream and cookies to kick off our summer season. We will also have team merchandise available for pick-up and/or purchase! No RSVP is needed for this event!

3. Black and Gold Scrimmage Meet and Individual & Team Photos - Wednesday, June 5th

**BOPP will be at the pool beginning at 4pm for individual photos. Our team photo will be taken at 4:45pm. Please wear the new team suit (available at Swim and Tri) or a solid black or prior year’s swimsuit for the photos.

**RSVPs for the Black & Gold Meet are due no later than Sunday, June 2nd at 6pm. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, your swimmer will be unable to participate in this meet! Sign-in on the Glider website to RSVP and volunteer! https://gettysvuegliders.swimtopia.com/

**Meet warm-ups will begin 5pm, and the meet will begin promptly at 6:00pm!

**An email will be sent out Monday morning with Black and Gold Team assignments, so be ready to show up at the meet in your finest Black or Gold gear!!

**Please sign-up for your volunteer slot for the Black and Gold Meet on the website. We will need double the number of volunteers for this meet because we are providing 100% of the volunteers! 4. Swim Lessons - If your swimmer needs additional swim lessons this summer, make sure to contact one of our coaches to schedule! They set their own fees and maintain an individual lesson calendar. 

5. Outstanding Swim Team Fees - If you still have not paid your team swim fees, please find a board member this week at the pool or turn them in to Kate Ellyn inside the clubhouse!
