Good afternoon Glider Families!!

Our first official dual meet of the summer is tomorrow evening at home. This week we swim against Jefferson City Swim Club! Here are important updates/reminders for this week:

1. Meet Warm-ups - GCC will begin warm-ups promptly at 5:00pm. Make sure to arrive at the pool no later than 4:45pm so your swimmer(s) are ready to begin warm-ups. Visiting team warm-ups will begin at 5:30pm, and the meet will begin promptly at 6pm. All volunteers should be in position at 5:55pm so the meet can begin on time. 

2. We still need Volunteers - Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to volunteer - we sincerely appreciate it! We still have slots remaining that we must fill for tomorrow's meet. Hosting a meet requires ALL HANDS ON DECK! If you have not volunteered already or don't mind to take on an additional shift, please contact Darcie Cotten @ (865)804-3344 or [email protected]. Please remember that if you have a swimmer in the meet, we ask that you volunteer for a shift during the meet. When you arrive at the meet tomorrow, please check in at the Volunteer Check In table at the front pool entrance to get your name tag and heat sheet.

3. Thursday Practice is GAME DAY and DOUGHNUTS! - 10 and under swimmers will have game day from 9:00-10:00am and 11 and ups will be from 10:00-11:30am. Our younger swimmers are welcome to stay for both Game Day sessions. Even if you couldn't swim on Wednesday night, please join us for Game Day! It's also Coach Cameron's birthday!!

4. Team Merchandise will be available for purchase at the meet - We will have 2019 Glider Gear available for purchase at the meet on Wednesday. We accept cash, check, Venmo and credit cards.

5. GCC vs Concord Hills RSVP Reminder - Please make sure to RSVP for our next/last home meet vs. Concord Hills. We will host at Gettysvue next Wednesday, 6/19. The deadline for RSVPs will be Sunday, 6/16 at 6pm. As a reminder, if you do not RSVP by the deadline, your swimmer(s) will not be able to participate.
