Good evening, Glider Families!

This is a friendly beginning-of-the-season reminder of our team policy that every family with a swimmer in a meet must provide one volunteer for that meet. Summer swim meets run exclusively on parent volunteers - from jobs that require no experience at all to jobs that require league certification. In case you don't know how important this is to the team, we need about 60 volunteers for a home meet and about 50 volunteers for an away meet. We absolutely cannot do this without you!

We were so excited to see so many of you at the GKAISA training session on Wednesday! If you attended, and would like to be certified as a Stroke & Turn Judge, please reach out to the GKAISA rep, or Stacy Mead, Eric McCollum, or me. We need you! We are always short of Stroke &Turn Judges.

This is my family's 6th year with the Gliders, and it has been a wonderful six years. We welcome our returning families and our new families equally! Whether your family has swam here since 1994 or if last week was your kids' first week in a pool, we are delighted you are here! We look forward to you volunteering all summer long!
