Black & Gold Meet Details
Individual pictures will begin at 4:30. Please by on deck at 5:30 for the team pictures. We will begin warmups immediately following the team picture. The meet will begin at 6:30.
The workers meeting will be at 6:00.
Athlete and Volunteer Check in
We are asking all volunteers and athletes to check in upon arrival. Parents,
you can check in for your child. Athletes arriving on their own should check in
before warmups.
If you have a swimmer in the meet and have not signed up for a job one will be assigned to you.
Please write your swimmer’s name and age on their shoulder for the meet. It is super helpful to our clerk of course volunteers as they are rounding up kids.
The snack bar will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken tenders during the meet. You can charge to your member account or pay with a credit card.
Meet after party, Bruster’s Ice Cream in Rocky Hill, 7670 S Northshore Drive.
Tuesday Practice is DONUT DAY with a regular practice schedule. We want to get as much work in as we can before or first dual meet next week. We will run a regular practice this Tuesday with donuts following each age group’s practice time. The Tuesday after the NFC meet will be a Fun Day with Donuts. 😊
Black & Gold Order of Events (we will not be swimming relays at Black & Gold)
Individual Medley
Freestyle
Backstroke
Breaststroke
Butterfly
The purpose of the Black and Gold meet is to give parents and swimmers a chance to get a feel for a meet. It’s a practice run for our dual meet next week. We know this is all new for several families. If your swimmer is anxious or concerned about an event, please encourage them to talk to their coaches. We want every swimmer to leave the meet feeling confident and excited to swim again.
Go Gliders!
