Hi Team!

We have our first dual meet of the season tomorrow, Thursday June 6 at Whittington Creek! Come ready to swim fast and strong, cheer on your friends and have fun!!

Arrival: 5:00 pm (volunteers may want to arrive a few minutes earlier to ensure they have enough time to check in)

Athlete and Volunteer Check-in: We are asking all volunteers to check in upon arrival to get their name tag and head to the worker meeting at 5:10.  Sara Allen will have a table set up in the parking lot. Parents, you can check in for your child.  Athletes arriving on their own should check in before warmups. 

Worker meeting (meet at scoring table): 5:10 pm 

Warmups: 5:30 pm

Meet begins: 6:00 pm

Meet theme: Favorite team jersey/ spirit wear

FACILITY DETAILS

Address: 1800 Whittington Creek Blvd/ Either neighborhood entrance will get you to the pool as the boulevard is a U-shape.

Pool: 25 yards and 6 Lanes

Parking: There is a small parking area at our clubhouse. Parking is permitted on either side, single file along Whittington Creek Boulevard. Parking is prohibited inside the roundabout entrance to the pool and on neighborhood streets. Parking anywhere other than the Boulevard is a safety hazard and will not allow for neighborhood traffic flow.

Seating – Our team uses a tailgate style set up in the parking lot. We plan to have half of the parking lot available for Gettysvue to set up tents and chairs. WCST will be set up in the other half. You can view the pool from the lot. We do not have a ton of shade, so tents are highly encouraged.

Concessions: Our pavilion will be open serving hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, Gatorade/PowerAde, water, assorted candy and snacks. CASH ONLY!

Meet after Party: Bruster's, 7670 S. Northshore Dr.

Remember your Shark or Minnow: Encourage them with a "good luck happy" from their favorite things list and/or meet up to give a high five/pep talk before the meet starts. If you are not attending the meet, please be sure to let your Shark/Minnow know. Find out more by clicking here.

Friday Practice is GAME DAY and DONUTS! –The 10 & unders will have games and donuts from 9:00-10:00, and 11 & ups from 10:00-11:00. Thank you Andy Turner Orthodontics for treating the team to donuts all season long! 

Heat sheets will be sent out around noon tomorrow if not sooner.
