Below are details for our meet on THURSDAY!

Our meet is AWAY.  Sugarwood Pool is located at 12137 Butternut Circle, Knoxville, TN 37934

***Arrive by 5:00 pm to get parked, settled and ready for warmups. Warmups will begin at 5:30. The meet starts at 6:00.

Volunteers: All families who have a swimmer signed up to participate in the meet MUST fulfill a volunteer shift. Please be sure to sign up for a shift using the SwimTopia app. The volunteer worker meeting will be held around 5:45.

Parking is NOT allowed on ANY streets within the subdivision. Orange yard signs will be placed on both sides of the street to indicate NO PARKING allowed. Any vehicles parking on the subdivision streets WILL BE TOWED at the owner's expense. There is plenty of parking available in the grassy fields around the pool. Follow the instructions of the Parking Attendants. Please back in your vehicle to the spot identified by the parking attendant. Doing so will help with the safety of children when leaving when it is dark. The paved parking lot next to the pool is reserved for individuals with disabilities, Seniors (65+) and for our coaches.Visiting Team LocationGCC swim team is to utilize the north side of the pool (the side closest to the basketball court) both in and outside of the fence. Outside of the pool fence you can set up between the pool gates and the basketball court. We encourage you to bring tents for shade, chairs, and blankets. Inside the pool area you will be allowed a single row of seating along the pool rope and a single row of seating right along the inside of the pool fence. A clear unobstructed path must be maintained around the pool at all times for the swim meet.

Friday Practice is FUN DAY and DONUTS! –The 10 & unders will have games and donuts from 9:00-10:00, and 11 & up from 10:00-11:00. Thank you Andy Turner Orthodontics for always treating the team to Donuts the day after meets!

Reminders:

• Athletes and volunteers are asked to check-in upon arrival. You can pick up a heat sheet at check-in.
• Hats will be available for sale for $22 at check-in.
• Remember to bring a goodie for your Shark or Minnow!
• It is the parent's responsibility to get their children to Clerk of Course (especially 10 & under swimmers).
